Cru is the least stressful part of my life and I always look forward to going. I'm always working and working and someone recently asked me what is fulfilling in my life, what do I not dread? And it's mostly just Cru. I've been able to work towards building community at Colorado College, meeting people and making friendships, and growing in my faith. This is a much better use of my time than serving money or academia. At CC, we've been growing our community group and every new person that comes is God's blessing. We've also been growing as individuals in the group and having great conversations. I'm grateful to have Cru at CC and be able to meet people from other schools as well.

Cru has given me a sense of community on campus that I’ve never experienced in my walk with the Lord at CC. I’ve built a diverse set of new relationships at CC and now connect regularly with a larger community of students in Southern Colorado who are committed to deepening their faith and sharing the Gospel. My Cru community also keeps me accountable and reminds me of what’s truly important in life. As a student it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by academic and athletic commitments but having a strong community to walk alongside you in your spiritual journey is irreplaceable.
